A small group of local lawyers in Ohio recently drafted up a letter asking Alec Baldwin the movie star and actor on the sitcom “30 Rock” to move to the Buckeye state of Ohio and run in the upcoming Democratic Party primaries.

Alec Baldwin is a political guy and has been quoted as saying that he intends to retire from acting around that time. He has also said when it comes to the possibility of getting into politics that the desire is there to participate and made no bones about the desire to run for public office, but has said that he has to have time to think about moving out to the Midwest.

So it remains to be seen if Alec Baldwin will start his often rumoured political charge.
